At Knighton Manor we recognise the importance of person centred care and actively encourage people to be involved in their support, talk about what works for them and plan how they wish to be supported in the future.
We hold regular meetings where people who live with us can express their ideas about activities, menu planning, day trips and holidays, what they like about their home and what they would like to change. We invite families to our meetings to see what is happening at the home and to share their views and ideas.

We don't just stop at those who stay with us we endeavour to build lasting relationships with families and carers. Knighton has great relationships with the families of individuals past and present to the extent that family members still visit us after their loved one has moved on.
We actively encourage individuals to make their room their own and will happily arrange for our contractor to hang wall paper, pictures or a flat screen TV to make people's space their own. Our staff are here to support clients to do their own shopping and cooking where possible and as much as possible. We want to help people learn daily living skills and to manage their own finances where possible.
